Mit dem Flugzeug (By Plane)

6:00- Arrived at LAX

6:30- Grab breakfast at the California Pizza Kitchen. 

7:20- Board the plane

8:00- Plane takes off

8:30- Check in-flight movie options. $6 per movie, suck. Watch all available movie previews.

8:40- Check in-flight TV options. $2 per episode, suck.

8:41- Settle on free in-flight episode of “How the Earth Was Made” which was about The Rocky Mountains. Very educational.

9: 10- Jealous of French family in front of us who has rented 2 different movies to watch. Take a vote with Randy and decide to splurge and rent a movie.

9:15- Decide to rent The Losers. The downside: we can only watch on one small screen and we must share headphones.

11:20- Movie is over. Check music selection. Try to relax.

11:22- Randy wants earphones to watch TV

11:24- Realization hits that we are on our way to Europe for 3 months where we don’t know anyone, don’t speak the language and we have very little money. Panic.

11:25- Talk myself down from getting a flight home from New York.

4:40p- Board the plane from JFK to ZRH

5:30 - Order a cup of Coca-Cola from the stewardess

5:32 - Realize that I am flying to Europe for 3 months with one suitcase, very little money and no contacts.

5:33 - Freak out

5:34 - Take a deep breath

5:35 - Realize that it’s too late to do anything about it now and try to relax

The rest of the night was just full of sad attempts to sleep in the middle seat; None of which were very successful.

12:20pm the next day- Arrive in Zürich
